I'm originally from Czech Republic. I have traveled the world and lived in different countries. I took deep interest in yoga after my back injury 6 years ago. Yoga healed me inside out. I've practice different styles of Yoga and I'm now certified teacher by Australian Yoga Academy and Zenergy Kids Yoga. I'm very grateful for this ancient practice, which lead me to India to my Guruji. Over the years I've learn that yoga is the state of being, that we can achieve . Not something we do in the moment of time.
When yoga came into my life it was like a sunrise. As a teacher I hope that I can give the Aum to many people that have not yet found a quiet place within themselves.
I was born in Germany and live in Cairna, Australia where I work as a disability support worker. I did gymnastics in my early years and enjoy horseriding.

My philosophy (for now) is that we are manifestations of the great
universal source and mind. Our existence on this planet linked to a
dualistic perception of reality and that we must endeavour to keep our
balance and extend beyond such a state of consciousness. We are
spiritual beings having a holisitc human experince.

with no expectation but I am extremely delighted with the quality os
their training and the rigour of the programme. They have found a good

Reasons for doing the YTTC: I am doing yoga since a couple of years but unfortunately so far only came in touch with the physical practice of Yoga, the asanas, whereas I kept seeking for more. I always felt quite drawn to spirituality, but some incidences in my life as well as living in a spiritual community in California last summer increased my intention to learn more about the science of self-realization and to finally get the full picture of what yoga really is, so that I will be hopefully able to teach and help more people on their path of self-realization.

For a couple of years now I have given basic lessons to friends and family because I love sharing my passion for yoga and that's why I have chosen to go deeper in to yoga by doing a 200 hour yoga teacher training course.
I finished my education in marketing, sales and economy in 2008 and have been working with it for some years in a marketing company but also in my own companies. My name is Laura Hall. I am a Florida native working as a personal chef on a private yacht. It's no secret that working in a kitchen/galley as a profession is very taxing on the body. After almost a year of enduring chronic pain I decided to give yoga another chance. Unfortunately my previous experiences with teachers were very poor and neglectful on their part. I decided to take the 200 hour yoga course in India at Sivasoorya to understand the potential of the asanas and meditation. I wanted to learn the correct breakdown and variations of the practice for myself and am now inspired to share with others what I have learned; how I am living with more peace daily and my once haggard body is adjusting and healing itself through practice of the asanas.

My name is Diana Marques, I am from Lagos,Portugal. I have been travelling around the world and working with tourism, as a receptionist.
Since the first time I tried yoga it became impossible to stop. Yoga practice started be part of my life, my passion - because of that I decided to do the 200H yoga teacher training with Sivasoorya, Divine school of yoga in India as a first step of many to become a professional Yoga teacher.
I feel that it is the right time for Yoga to develop in the world and the right moment for me to follow this path, by deepening my yoga knowledge and be able to share this knowledge with others.
Hello, my name is Dascalu Magdalena and I am from Romania. I have been practicing different sports since childhood. Gymnastics was my favourite. It involved a lot of stretching, similar to yoga asanas. I was able to transfer these skills to yoga when I began practicing four years ago. After a period of self study and much reading, I decided to come to India and engage in a professional yoga teacher training course here at Sivasoorya, Divine school of Yoga.In the future, I plan to teach and share my passion for yoga with friends, family and professionally.
My name is Benjamin Sommer, I am german national but I come from Portugal. I am a studied (BA) business manager, more in detail my job is managing kitesurfing schools. Being a qualified kitesurfing instructor, stand up paddelboarding and surfing instructor I am always keen to learn how to teach others about what I love. I believe Yoga is one of the most blissful arts we can teach each other, therefore I am undertaking the 200H Yoga Course with the Sivasoorya Yoga School in Kerala India to deepen my own Yoga knowledge and how knows, maybe one day teach yoga?
My name is Ivana Hovancová, I was born 2.5.1980 in a small village in Czech Republic. My original profession is civil engineering and now I work as a Yoga instructor at yoga studio Yoga Brno and as a Massage Therapist in several fitnessstudio`s in Czech Republic. I started with yoga 9 years ago and my self practice began to evolve gradually from physical deepening of Asanas to the knowledge of it`s therapeutic effects. Yoga became an inseparable part of my life.
Thanks to the chance to practice with European teachers and two years of studies of yoga in Czech Republic, I started with my own teacher practice and gradually found out that Yoga as Therapy is the purpose of my life.
Last Year was important for me,because I visited an Ayurvedic Resort where I tried Pancha Karma and practiced Hatha Yoga with Indian Teachers. The whole experience was amazing. For me Yoga reached a new dimension. That`s why I decided to study traditional yoga in India, which I want to add to my daily yoga practice and to share with others in Czech Republic.
My name is Lenka Waisova, I was born in Brno, Czech Republic on the 20th of May 1988. I finished my Bachelor and Master degrees in Translatology at the University of Vienna.
I had my first yoga lesson when I was fifteen years old and fell immediately in love with it. However, for a long time I did yoga only in “European style” - not regularly and with focus only for Asanas. I tried different styles and found the benefits of regular practice through Bikram yoga, when I started to do a volunteering job in one Viennese yoga studio and could visit their classes regularly. I kept helping and practicing in the studio for three years and thanks to this I could experience the benefits of regular yoga practice. This led me to wish to start with more traditional yoga styles. In winter 2014 I travelled to India, where I worked as a translator in one Ayurvedic centre in Kerala and participated every day in their yoga lessons and spent my free time with selfstudy of yoga philosophy. Already before leaving India I have chosen a place, where I wanted to do my 200 hours Yoga TTC and came to this place - Sivasoorya Ashram in Kerala - in February 2016. I hope to keep coming back to India regularly and improve here my self-practice as well as my teacher skills, so that I can help other people in Europe and other places I might teach at to find the magic of Yoga.

As a holistic Nutritionist I see the importance of taking care of the mind, the body and the spirit. It is of great importance for us to fuel our bodies with clean foods that nature has provided us. It is also important to balance ourselves through movement and controlling our thoughts. Yoga is a beautiful practice along with nurturing the body with proper foods to bring our bodies into a harmonious balanced state. I look to share what I have learned with my clients to bring more joy into their everyday lives.
Samantha always had a passion for health and wellness. At a young age, she became conscious of her health and made it a priority to eat nutritious food and exercise regularly. In 2014, her perspective of health began to change after attending her first yoga class at a local studio. Falling in love with how her mind and body felt after the class, she spent the next 4 years exploring different styles of yoga and studying the history and philosophy behind the yogic science. In 2018, she decided to travel to the birthplace of yoga, Kerala, India to obtain her 200 HR teaching certification at SivaSoorya Divine School of Yoga. Inspired by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Samantha developed a yoga style in Hatha Yoga with a touch of Kundalini. After experiencing the life-changing effect of yoga first-hand, she hopes to share yoga with others in the US and around the world. Her goal is to show others the transformational power of yoga as a healing process that purifies the mind, body, and soul. Her yoga class elevates students beyond Asanas, incorporating pranayama, mantras, and meditation techniques; leaving students with a holistic practice that is both energizing and restorative.
